摘要: Magnaporthe oryzae is a filamentous, ascomycete fungus best known as the causal agent of devastating disease rice blast. In addition to being pathogen rice, it also causes diseases on other important crops, including wheat, millets, and forage grasses, turf grasses such perennial ryegrass St. Augustinegrass. Despite species’ broad host range, fungal isolates from one genus usually are unable infect genera. Such specificity can be manifested at subspecies level, that an isolate cultivar often cultivars.
