摘要: Telomeres are the sequences that form ends of eukaryotic chromosomes and essential structures confer genome stability guide chromosome behavior. In addition, terminal regions tend to house genes with predicted roles in ecological adaptation. Unfortunately, however, most fungal assemblies contain very few telomeres and, therefore, identities residing near often unknown. an effort develop a complete understanding organization gene content number fungi, we developed efficient methods for identification targeted cloning telomeres.
