摘要: The movement of chromosomes that precedes meiosis was observed in living cells fission yeast by fluorescence microscopy. Further analysis situ hybridization revealed the telomeres remain clustered at leading end premeiotic chromosome movement, unlike mitotic which centromere leads. Once meiotic segregation starts, however, centromeres resume position as they do mitosis. Although telomere first has not been before, clustering is reminiscent bouquet structure meiotic-prophase higher eukaryotes, suggests perform specific functions required for chromosomal events generally eukaryotes.
