摘要: Chronic depolarization greatly increases the survival of many types neurons in culture. In at least some cases this enhancement consists suppression programmed cell death, a type death occurring developing deprived sufficient neurotrophic factor support. Available evidence suggests that effect on is mediated by sustained rise cytoplasmic free Ca2+, apparently caused influx Ca2+ through voltage-gated channels. This review discusses what known about mechanism which prolonged and increased intracellular promote survival.
