摘要: This paper investigates the mixing phenomena in pipe junctions water distribution systems. Network simulation models frequently assume that at is complete and instantaneous. In present study, a series of experiments using tee cross with varying inflows free chlorine concentrations were carried out Hydraulic Laboratory Institute Engineering National Autonomous University Mexico. Numerical simulations these also performed EPANET-BAM. Experimental results from this study showed not most cases; intersecting flows tend to bifurcate rather than mix completely. indicated good agreement between calculated measured values. The model was tested data system Duberger-Les Saules, Quebec City, Canada. A larger vulnerability zone identified due impact incomplete junction prediction residual network.
