摘要: Characterization of chemical composition for lignocellulosic biomasss (LCB) is essential in the conversion process LCB to bioenergy and biochemicals. Accurate quantification allows better determination product yield processing. However, presence extractable material stated strongly influence compositional analysis LCB. This study was conducted analyze compare (A) native-whole unextracted rice straw (1) untreated (URS) (2) AFEX pretreated (AC1RS AC2RS) as well (B) extractives-free URS AC2RS). The effect pretreatment on determined using URS, AC1RS AC2RS. actual reported were made based corrected values straw. analyzed structural constituents such glucan, xylan, arabinan Klason lignin non-structural constituents. results demonstrated that extractives significantly interfere with lignin. content overestimated if not removed prior analysis. statistically did affect carbohydrate analyses. some soluble sugars from during extraction process.
