Using Soybean Products in School Lunch for Health Education mayimprove ChildrenâÂÂs Attitude and Guardiansâ Knowledge in Kindergarten

摘要: Soybean products are healthy and an important source of vegetable protein in Japan. This study examines the effects using soybean at home decreasing children’s dislike products. A quasiexperimental pre-post-test design was utilised to examine effect school lunch programs assess consumption The study’s participants included 309 children (mean 4.2 ± 0.8 ages) attending kindergarten nursery facilities. We compared score among 3 groups (Intervention, Comparison B) before after intervention. Children thinking about ‘respect for food’ significantly higher intervention than comparison group (p<0.01, p=N.S, by Fisher’s exact test). improvement knowledge nutrition education B p<0.01, p=N.S). Health involving soybeans program may lead increase giving their guardians.
