摘要: Abstract From the last large seismic movements generated in Pacific Ocean, it has been demonstrated that tsunamis have a high potential of destruction buildings on coasts. In sense, although along Colombian coast several earthquakes tsunami were reported during century, there are no local data to quantify physical damage future events could produce nearby cities. For purpose establishing tools increase risk management capabilities Colombian-Ecuadorian Coast, this paper summarizes research aimed describe new integrated methodology obtain fragility curves for at tsunami. This task was accomplished using computational nonlinear structural analysis, combined with Monte Carlo statistical algorithm numerical probabilistic curves. The capacity obtained from simulations finite element method, calculate later each building. Two different models estimate probability tested order evaluate one better represents behavior buildings, which considered model as forces scattered heights, thus representing flow depths. As result, developed theoretical typical structures found coast, be expanded any system located region around world. an illustrative example, proposed applied reinforced concrete building, previous work all Tumaco city characterized according their features.
