摘要: A case is presented of a 26-year-old male with 8-day history fever and back pain, limb weakness beginning 24 hours before admission. An abscess caused by staphylococcus aureus was localised in the thoracic paravertebral region penetration subarachnoidal space at T1. Myelography appeared to be superior CAT-scan NMRI cervico-thoracal supporting diagnosis. Treatment laminectomy C7-T3 48 after admission did not lead neurological improvement an incomplete tetraplegia persisted. The importance difficulty early diagnosis stressed.
