摘要: Abstract Active poly(vinyl alcohol)/clay nanocomposite films incorporated with tea polyphenols (TP) was prepared by solution casting method. The effects of TP concentrations including 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% (based on dry weight PVA) in the film-forming film properties were determined measuring structural, physicochemical, mechanical, antioxidant antimicrobial active films. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns transmission electron microscopy (TEM) results showed that MMT well dispersed mainly exfoliated PVA matrix. as whole no obvious aggregation observed from scanning microscope (SEM) results. suggested incorporation into improved tensile strength, gas barrier (water vapor oxygen) water resistance properties. Fourier transforms infrared (FTIR) spectra indicated interactions between involved activity significantly raised increasing content TP. It demonstrated these could inhibit bacterial growth. capacity against E. coli S. aureus grew This study revealed benefits potential application used packaging or coating material to develop material.
