摘要: : Bovine arterial tissue exposed to two epoxy ether compounds (Denacol EX-313 and Denacol EX-810) was evaluated for its biocompatible potential by in vitro vivo test procedures. The battery of procedures included percent Inhibition Cell Growth, Medium Eluate Method (MEM), Agar Overlay (AO), Blood Compatibility, Acute Mouse Systemic Injection, Rabbit lntracutaneous Irritation, Subcutaneous Implantation, Guinea Pig Maximization, Ames Tests. found be noncytotoxic, non-mutagenic, the methods employed. In addition, maximum concentrations unreacted EX-810 solutions demonstrate noncytotoxic reactions MEM AO were identified as 55 60 ppm 150 200 procedure, respectively. These studies suggest that are acceptable processing implantable provided residuals remain below those levels cytotoxic.
