摘要: Abstract This paper compares the mortality experience of foreign-born Irish, Italians and Jews in New York City 1979–1981. For Irish Italian groups, 1980 census data were used to calculate age-specific age-standardized death rates. Jewish group, denominator not available, so proportional analysis was used. An estimate made show degree which standardized ratios approximated relative standard measures. Major causes other selected examined. The results this support previous studies showing is significantly greater among Irish-born immigrants than born. suggest that groups have cause distributions relatively similar each dissimilar group. Alcohol-related appear be a major source uniqueness experience.
