摘要: Abstract Extremophiles are fascinating microorganisms that possess a recent research history. Since the late 1960s, when strain of thermophile was isolated from hot spring, extremophiles have left academic laboratories and found their way into variety technological applications. These bizarre capable surviving in extreme habitats under very high or low temperatures pH, humidity, elevated salt concentrations, pressure, ionizing radiation levels (classified as thermophiles, psychrophiles, alkalophiles, acidophiles, xerophiles, halophiles, piezophiles, radiophiles, respectively).
