摘要: Abstract Extremophiles are fascinating microorganisms that possess a recent research history. Since the late 1960s, when strain of thermophile was isolated from hot spring, extremophiles have left academic laboratories and found their way into variety technological applications. These bizarre capable surviving in extreme habitats under very high or low temperatures pH, humidity, elevated salt concentrations, pressure, ionizing radiation levels (classified as thermophiles, psychrophiles, alkalophiles, acidophiles, xerophiles, halophiles, piezophiles, radiophiles, respectively). In this sense, production enzymes adapted to carry out functions harsh conditions has led microorganisms, operational modes, bioreactor configurations licensing achievement diverse successful biological processes. chapter, diversity extremophilic potential application for “extremocompounds” on scale reviewed.
