Sol-gel preparation and photoluminescence properties of CaREAl3O7:Eu3+ (RE=Y, Gd, Lu) phosphors

摘要: Abstract CaREAl 3 O 7 :Eu 3+ (RE = Y, Gd, Lu) phosphors have been prepared by sol–gel method. The effect of rare earth ions on the luminescence were investigated. In system emission intensity can be ordered as follows: Y ≈ Gd > Lu. Moreover, under 393 nm light excitation all compounds exhibited strong 5 D 0 – F 2 at 617 nm. spectra implied that these effectively absorb near UV-LED chips. All results indicate are promising red-emitting pumped near-UV light.
