摘要: The aim of this work is to present a critical review on slurry bioreactors (SB) and their application bioremediation soils sediments polluted with recalcitrant toxic compounds. scope the encompasses following subjects: (i) process fundamentals SB analysis advantages disadvantages; (ii) most recent applications laboratory scale commercial soil bioremediation, focus pesticides, explosives, polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated organic pollutants; (iii) trends use surfactants improve availability contaminants supplementation degradable carbon sources enhance cometabolism (iv) findings utilization electron acceptors other than oxygen; (v) bioaugmentation advances made characterization microbial communities SB; (vi) developments ecotoxicity assays aimed at evaluating efficiency process.
