摘要: Bioinformatics can be defined as the development and use of computational methods to solve problems from life sciences. With advent omics technologies, flood biological data has been growing exponentially, traditional manual analysis exploration is less an option. Networks are a powerful abstraction that utilized structure, explore, analyze on different levels: atomic details cellular processes evolutionary relationships. In this chapter, we will introduce basic characteristics types networks, give examples actual visualizations, discuss current challenges.
