A search for forward scattering of sunlight from the lunar libration clouds

摘要: Data obtained with the white-light coronagraph on Skylab are analyzed to determine radiance of forward scattered sunlight from particles in lunar libration regions. It is found that regions could not be distinguished against solar K + F coronal background, and upper limits determined for cloud as well density enhancements region. The actual spatial enhancement calculated basis previous observations by Roach (1975). contrast a possible model respect K- F-corona/zodiacal-light background maximum vicinity elongation angle order 30 deg.
