摘要: A new type fiber bending sensor based on a tilted Bragg grating (TFBG) interacting with multimode (MMF) is presented. The sensing head formed by insertion of small section MMF between single-mode (SMF) and the TFBG. reflection light from this includes two parts, i.e., reflected mode cladding modes. latter were first coupled core to counter-propagating modes TFBG then back into as function MMF. power changes bent while one keeps unchanged. average reflective in decreased increase curvature. measurement range curvature 0m−1 2.5m−1 sensitivity −802.4nW/m−1 achieved.
