摘要: A kind of fiber-optic sensor for simultaneous measurement refractive index surrounding medium, temperature and strain is described. Based on core diameter mismatch, a multimode-single mode-multimode (MSM) structure presented. It demonstrated that the three parameters can be measured respectively by interference mode cladding modes excited in single fiber (SMF). Then combined with polarization-maintaining Bragg grating (PMFBG) which has different sensing properties from MSM structure, are simultaneously. The experimental results show PMFBG insensitive to sensitivity 96.04 nm·RIU−1; sensitivities characteristic wavelength center wavelengths fast slow axes 0.0911 nm · °C−1, 0.00976 °C−1 0.0105 respectively; those −0.013 μɛ−1, 0.012 μɛ−1 respectively.
