摘要: Abstract In order to pursue a possibility of application radiopaque polymer hydrogels vascular embolization, studies were made on synthesis iodine containing copolyanions and properties their with polycation via formation polyion complexes (PIC). Acrylamide derivatives having triiodophenyl groups synthesized copolymerized sodium styrene sulfonate (SS) under several conditions. It was found that N -(3-carboxy-2,4,6-triiodophenyl)-acrylamide (CIPA) 2,4,6-triiodophenylacrylamide (TIPA) monomers are effectively SS, while -allyl-2,3,5-triiodobenzamide (ATIBA) hardly copolymerized. Hydrogels prepared by mixing aqueous solutions polyanions, i.e. the copolymers (PCIPA PTIPA) polyallylamine (PAAn). 13 C NMR spectra PCIPA/PAAn PTIPA/PAAn gave peaks for both polyanion polycation. This means there remained free anionic cationic monomer units, which did not form ion pairs because spatial hindrance. Time dependence 1 H T 2 showed quick increment plateau PSS/PAAn gradual increments PCIPA/PAAn. Therefore, PIC copolymer retains hydrogel state long time. Embolization examined injection into vein removed porcine kidney as preliminary test transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE). X-ray radiograms embolized organ reasonably explained based structure mobility hydrogels.
