摘要: House dust mites (HDM; Dermatophagoides sp.) are one of the commonest aeroallergens worldwide and up to 85% asthmatics typically HDM allergic. Allergenicity is associated both with themselves ligands derived from mite-associated bacterial fungal products. Murine models allergic airways disease for asthma research have recently switched use surrogate allergen ovalbumin together adjuvant extract. This has accelerated understanding how adaptive innate immunity generate downstream pathology. We review myriad ways in which responses orchestrated. Understanding molecular pathways that elicit HDM-associated pathology likely reveal novel targets therapeutic intervention.
