摘要: Use of herbal formulations is increasing day by day. Triphala also witnessed the increase in demand due to its various therapeutic uses. This led availability a number brands market. Being plant based formulation it highly vulnerable adulteration and contamination that can finally alter efficacy product may pose serious health risks for consumers. In this study physicochemical phytochemical parameters were studied assess quality marketed product. Morphological microscopic characteristics powder samples showed powdered endocarp ingredients. A variation was observed pH moisture values. Excluding one or two samples, ash values found within permissible limits.
