摘要: The genus Citrus contains many economically important fruits that are grown worldwide for their high nutritional and medicinal value. Due to frequent hybridizations among species cultivars, the exact number of natural taxonomic relationships within this unclear. To compare differences between chloroplast genomes develop useful genetic markers, we used a reference-assisted approach assemble complete genome Omani lime (C. aurantiifolia). C. aurantiifolia is 159,893 bp in length; organization gene content similar most rosids lineages characterized date. Through comparison with sweet orange sinensis) genome, identified three intergenic regions 94 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) potentially informative markers resolution interspecific relationships. These can be utilized better understand origin cultivated Citrus. A 72 belonging 10 families representative also provides new insights into evolution.
