摘要: Objective: In this study the effect of ribose on heart function and infarct-size was analyzed 6 h after myocardial infarction (MI) in rats. Methods: Continuous i.v.-infusion NaCl or (200 mg/ kg/h) started one day prior to induction MI female Sprague-Dawley rats which done by ligation left coronary artery. Six hours measured with 3F tip catheter, cardiac output thermodilution method. Thereafter ischemic area delineated Evans Blue infusion, infarct visualized triphenyltetrazolium chloride staining. The mRNA expression interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, matrixmetalloproteinase (MMP)-8, -9 ribonuclease protection assay. Results: Heart severely depressed artery occlusion, but recovered significantly under influence ribose. Left ventricular (LV) systolic pressure (LVSP) contractility (LVdP/dt max ) were restored normal levels sham-operated animals, while parameters LV relaxation min time constant τ) impaired compared improved treatment shamtreated MI-rats. Moreover, size smaller treated animals despite a comparable at risk all cytokine reduced treatment, there no differences regarding MMP expression. Conclusion: MI. This seemed be based slowing velocity necrotic wave front across wall resulting infarcts.
