摘要: A hybrid retinal implant is a visual prosthesis to reconstruct sensation in the blind. It consists of an external devise and internal micro-electro mechanical system (MEMS). In order connect MEMS with central nervous systems (CNS), several neurons are attached on top MEMS, their axons guided peripheral nerve graft or fiber filled Schwann cells. After reach CNS make functional connection neurons, adequate electrical stimulation will produce action potential so that it be possible send image signal through neurons. Namely, can used as living electric wires implant.
