摘要: Abstract VLNET is a shared virtual life network with humans that provides natural interface forcollaborative working. Virtual actors play key role in VLNET. Three kinds of maycoexist scene: participant, guided and autonomous actors. A participant actor virtualcopy the real user or participant; his movement exactly same as user. actoris an completely controlled real-time by An who mayact without intervention user. Keywords : Life, Reality, Telecooperative Work, Computer Animation, NetworkedMultimedia, Actors. 1. Introduction There have been increasing interest area networked environments recently 1 2 3 4 .These systems are centralized on task level, less work has done supporting thepsychological aspects 5 6 , including sense presence environment through gesturalcommunication other users agents representation whole body.Providing behavioral realism significant requirement for based humancollaboration, such Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) systems. Networked CSCWsystems also require should: provide comfortable gesturalcommunication, support awareness environment, mechanisms fordifferent modes interaction (synchronous vs. asynchronous, allowing to different times inthe environment), supply customized tools data visualization, protectionand sharing.Virtual Reality can powerful mechanism CSCW systems, its nature ofemphasizing environment. This be accomplished throughthe of:• representing special-purpose service programs 3D virtualenvironment,• interact each via facial interactionand body gestures their actors,• rest complex andrealistic behaviors walking navigation, grasping, etc.• user-customized editing picked objects, depending object type (e.g. images,free-form surfaces)
