摘要: Background Allergic symptoms are commonly related to atmospheric pollen counts in sensitized allergic individuals. However, concordance between symptoms, counts, and aeroallergen concentrations is not always good. Objectives To determine the correlation olive levels, clinical patients with asthma or rhinitis Ciudad Real (Spain). Methods Two types of samplers were used exposure: a Burkard spore trap collect grains high-volume air sampler airborne particles. A total 366 filters collected. After extraction, they analyzed by specific immunoglobulin E enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay inhibition using serum pool containing high titers olive-specific E. Twenty olive-pollen monosensitized asked record their daily before, during, after season. Results Olive was detected April 21 June 30, 2004. Symptoms showed positive significant correlations ( r = 0.700, P 0.803, 3 22.7 ng allergen/m (equivalent 0.9 ng/m Ole e 1). Conclusions positively associated olive-allergic patients.
