摘要: Rat submaxillary glands were ligated for 31 days and then the ligatures removed. Groups of animals killed after ligation 7, 15, 30, 60, 120, 180 Overall gland recovery was studied by light microscopy in 1.5 μ sections, while fine-structure details exocrine cells granular duct electron microscopy. There is a pronounced morphologic similarity to immature neonatal rats. However, evidence parenchymal cell death or mitotic activity extremely rare therefore result recovery, not de novo differentiation. Evidence secretory appears acinar before it does ducts. Prior 30 unligation contain no secretion granules, almost RER, very small Golgi areas. After days, dense granules appear apical cytoplasm, there slight increase RER. At 120 number these mature, i.e., they are full large well formed RER patterns. By essentially normal but still fewer mature than control.
