摘要: A report on the presence of Stephanorhinus kirchbergensis (JAGER 1839) in Eurasia is proposed here. As yet, S. appears rarely recorded this wide territory. a whole, its occurrences are more frequent Western than Eastern Europe and Asia. Unfortunately, well-dated both cranial postcranial remains very few. Moreover - at least present fossil material described literature assigned to taxon only partly available Eurasian museum collections. Among Plio-Pleistocene rhinoceros, one most distinctive species being characterized by unique odonto-morphological traits. Furthermore, it useless deny when faced with facts that seems be rhinoceros still little investigated, consequently, not well-known yet. History, general characters, anatomical odontological features have been discussed previous works author.
