摘要: While Xenopus is a well-known model system for early vertebrate development, in recent years, it has also emerged as leading regeneration research. As an anuran amphibian, laevis can regenerate the larval tail and limb by means of formation proliferating blastema, lens eye transdifferentiation nearby tissues, exhibits partial postmetamorphic froglet forelimb. With availability inducible transgenic techniques Xenopus, experiments are beginning to address functional role genes process regeneration. The use soluble inhibitors been very successful this model. Using more traditional advantages others providing important lineage data on origin cells that make up tissues regenerate. Finally, transcriptome analyses regenerating seek identify cellular processes enable Developmental Dynamics 238:1226 –1248, 2009. © 2009 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
