摘要: Stable colloidal suspensions of nanoparticles in solvents are conventionally termed as “nanofluids”. Several controversial reports the literature on nanofluids explored anomalous enhancement their thermophysical properties (such thermal conductivity). This has generated considerable interest among several research groups last three decades leading to thousands publications aspects nanofluids, spanning fundamental studies various applications engineering and life sciences. The popularity is spawned by ability deliver tunable material based well ease flexibility afforded a multitude nanosynthesis protocols. highly sensitive small variations can be tuned varying size, shape, morphology (surface functionalization), composition, structure mass concentration variety techniques for dispersing chosen liquid (which often overlooked an important variable literature). Hence, due diligence required implementing synthesis protocols achieving with desired functionality ensuring stability. Different synthesizing summarized effect conditions reviewed this study. examples selected set candidate discussed well. also helps identify gaps recent developments topic large-scale nanofluids. need particularly acute providing scale-up large volume manufacturing batch-fabrication capabilities practical (e.g., energy storage power generation). These would require tons synthesized commercial scale, opposed milligram quantities that typically laboratory scientific
