摘要: In this paper we introduce a new framework for image registration. Our formulation is based on consistent discretization of the optimization problem coupled with multigrid solution linear system which evolves in Gauss--Newton iteration. We show that our $h$-elliptic independent parameter choice, and therefore simple implementation can be used. To overcome potential large nonlinearities to further speed up computation, use multilevel continuation technique. demonstrate efficiency method realistic highly nonlinear registration problem.
