摘要: There has been renewed interest in examining the multiple causes of undernutrition and growth failure cystic fibrosis. It is now recognized that caused by unfavourable energy balance rather than an inherent component disease. Furthermore, there appears to be a direct association between degree severity pulmonary disease, which turn affects overall prognosis. Energy imbalance may three main factors: increased loss because nutrient maldigestion; reduced intake due improper diet and/or anorexia from respiratory abdominal symptoms or clinical depression expenditure with advanced lung Most patients are capable compensating for these factors; provided sufficient, normal velocity nutritional status maintained. However, minority older patients, when disease supervenes, rises resulting deficit. Undernutrition, stores lean tissue contribute progressive deterioration function. When this occurs, long-term invasive methods support can restore balance.
