Simultaneous Prediction of Densities and Vapor–Liquid Equilibria of Mixtures Containing an Isomeric Chlorobutane and Methyl tert-Butyl Ether Using the VTPR Model

摘要: Densities of four binary mixtures formed by an isomer chlorobutane (1-chlorobutane, 2-chlorobutane, 1-chloro-2-methylpropane, or 2-chloro-2-methylpropane) and methyl tert-butyl ether have been measured in the temperature range 283.15 K–313.15 K; from these densities corresponding excess volumes obtained correlated. The isothermal vapor–liquid equilibria also studied at T = 288.15, 298.15, 308.15 K, experimental data satisfactorily checked for thermodynamic consistency using method Van Ness. correlated Wilson equation, Gibbs energies calculated.
