摘要: Abstract A solid solution of 8 mol% scandia-stabilized cubic-zirconia (8ScSZ) has been prepared by co-precipitation technique. The synthesized powder an average crystallite size ∼40 nm, surface area 8.49 m2/g, and agglomerated particle 150 nm. activation energy 8ScSZ calculated from impedance loss spectra; electrical modulus spectra are in the range 0.90–1.30 eV. frequency temperature-dependent conductivities were measured 50 Hz–1 MHz 300–900 K, respectively. Complex spectra, complex formalism conductivity have carefully analyzed order to separate grain, grain boundary electrode–electrolyte effects. Analysis ac data using indicates a typical negative temperature coefficient resistance (NTCR) behavior materials. intrinsic is mainly due hopping mobile ions among available localized site. Relaxation time obtained matched well with spectra. Impedance analysis suggests presence relaxation process material.
