摘要: The present communication is intended to be the first of a series dealing with observations on life-history Anura Aglossa and their anatomy at different stages development. Xenopus laevis , its small ova protracted larval free-swimming stages, must necessarily form basis for study development that other remarkable Aglossan, Pipa americana . Although adult Aglossan an aberrant specialised Anuran, there are Urodele features in Xenopas which make embryology great general interest. These primitive features, combined others peculiar genus, impress character upon early this frog widely divergent from Phaneroglossa ova.
