High readout speed pixel chip developemnt at Fermilab

摘要: Pixel detectors are becoming a very important part of high energy physics experiments, including those at the Tevatron and LHC. At Fermilab, pixel detector for BTeV experiment is proposed installation few millimetres from beam. Its information will be used in on-line track finding lowest level trigger system. This application requires chips with readout speed. The architecture being designed Fermilab presented, future developments simulations summarised.
