摘要: One of the fundamental parameters in soil formation equation is that relating to parent material from which soils have been derived. Such information typically derived geological surveys and paper maps. However, an increasing propensity directly produce digital maps associated data bases means a far greater range can be made available assist scientist mapping predicting characteristics. geo-information include, detailed lithological parameters, geochemistry sediments, engineering remotely sensed information. In this we describe on-going work at British Geological Survey are actively developing national map property base scale 1:50 000. The main aim doing support development sets similar by those responsible for survey UK. our experience date suggests adoption strategies regions countries with sparse, orientated, infrastructures could considerable value. For example many have, or receiving, aid licensing mineral resources (i.e. Madagascar, Afghanistan Mauritania) include not only significant improvements GIS infrastructure, but also remote sensing geochemical survey.
