摘要: Although cardiovascular disease mortality rates seem to decline, especially among middle-aged people in developed countries, the prevalence of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) increases, representing most common cause morbidity both and developing countries generating large economic burden. It is estimated that one fifth ACS patients die suddenly half them belong a fast growing popula- tion age-group, i.e., those between 70 .80 years. A substantial number these deaths has been attributed various lifestyles, modifiable factors; therefore, it can be prevented. However, factors such as dietary habits behaviours, physical activity, life stress smoking habits, although thoroughly discussed, are not well understood appreciated spectrum secondary prevention. The latter deserves further attention under prism socio-economic status changed dramatically last years some populations. aim this review was discuss role lifestyle on prevention individual's status. Based retrieved information revealed there vast evidence events cannot accomplished simply through medical treatment, but requires multifaceted approach incorporating modifications, too. Therefore, public health policy endeavours should directed towards multifocal strategies, motivate support cardiac consistently follow treatment regimens establish more effective efficient community interventions.
