Selective Molecular Transport through Intrinsic Defects in a Single Layer of CVD Graphene

摘要: We report graphene composite membranes with nominal areas more than 25 mm2 fabricated by transfer of a single layer CVD onto porous polycarbonate substrate. A combination pressure-driven and diffusive transport measurements provides evidence size-selective molecules through the membrane, which is attributed to low-frequency occurrence intrinsic 1–15 nm diameter pores in graphene. Our results present first step toward realization practical that use as selective material.
