摘要: PET or PET/CT mostly utilizing the tracer [18F]fluorodeoxyglucose (18FDG) are unique imaging methods for detection of breast cancers with increased glucolytic activity. simultaneously provides anatomic and metabolic information by detecting glucose uptake. may provide extra on stage that can be utilized in certain cases during treatment decision making. is a very sensitive option to detect lymph node involvement distant metastasis which needed selected cases. In neoadjuvant metastatic setting, serve as valuable noninvasive investigating chemosensitivity monitoring effectiveness systemic therapy. Its use, however, should reserved particular diagnostic uncertainty routine management cancer.
