摘要: Abstract Introduction This study compared the amount of hard tissue debris produced after different apical enlargement with single-file reciprocating systems (WaveOne [Dentsply Maillefer, Baillaigues, Switzerland] and Reciproc [VDW, Munich, Germany]) a conventional multifile rotary system (BioRaCe [FKG Dentaire, La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland]) using micro–computed tomographic imaging. Methods Thirty moderately curved mesial roots mandibular molars presenting 2 independent root canals were selected scanned at an isotropic resolution 14.16 μm. The sample was assigned to 3 groups (n = 10) respect length degree curvature according used for canal preparation: Reciproc, WaveOne, BioRaCe. Second third scans taken prepared up ISO sizes 25 40, respectively. matched images canals, before preparation, examined from furcation level apex evaluate (%). Data statistically general linear model repeated-measures significance set 5%. Results Instrumentation per se did not influence accumulation (P > .05), whereas significant reduction in percentage observed sequential all Conclusions None yielded completely free packed debris. increased final size resulted significantly less both systems.
