Factors influencing employee perceptions in lean transformations

摘要: Abstract The purpose of the study was to investigate employee perceptions during a lean transformation. 1 combination case and survey methodologies used define elements influencing perceived success shop floor employees. According our findings, belief, commitment, work method communication all have considerable direct impact on workers' success. However, their effects are very different based scope focus changes that is influenced by process characteristics. Perceptions regarding successful transformation moderate reorganisation company's welding plant, where mainly males work, affected only commitment method, whereas deep sewing plant (populated female employees) belief communication.
