摘要: Abstract In this paper we have validated and revised the general expressions for far-field-current factors presented by Bermudez et al., 2005 , 2007 lightning strike to tall objects on perfectly finitely conducting ground, respectively. For it is found that when risetime of return stroke current (RT) larger than 5h/c (h height object c light speed), overestimation caused traditional method predicting peak within 10% beyond a distance 20 km from channel, with decrease observed horizontal d, error will increase due effect induction field component. example, d 10 km, about 20% 300-m-tall object. finite conductivity ranging 0.01 S/m 0.001 S/m, strikes object, predicted measured magnetic according overestimated +5% +20% (positive means while negative underestimation) derivation value more because component; When 50-m-tall has an −15%.
