摘要: In this paper, we have studied the accuracy of field-to-current conversion factors (FCCFs) presented by Baba and Rakov (2007) for currents inferred from electromagnetic field produced lightning strike to tall objects, considering perfectly finitely conducting ground, respectively. For different FCCFs initial peak current at object top, short-circuit peak, largest bottom ranging underestimation 18% overestimation 10% reflection coefficients two ends ρt = − 0.5 ρb = 1.0, 25% ρb = 0.7; their decreases with increase risetime RT. finite conductivity 0.01 S/m 0.001 S/m, will cause many errors if do not take into account propagation effect along obviously decrease conductivity. example, are about 20% when is while 55% 0.001 S/m 168 m high object. Therefore, revised on radiated objects found that our much better lossy ground than (2007).
