摘要: Ochratoxin A (OTA) is produced by Aspergillus westerdijkiae , carbonarius and Penicillium verrucosum or species closely related to each of those. It known affect many animal a powerful kidney toxin. However, its effects, if any, on humans at current levels exposure remain unclear. regarded the International Agency for Research Cancer as possibly carcinogenic humans. OTA was once considered cause disease Balkan endemic nephropathy, but that now seems unlikely. most commonly found in European Canadian cereals, also occurs coffee, cocoa, dried vine fruits wines. Levels diet rarely approach provisional tolerable weekly intake level established Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee Food Additives.
