摘要: A bioassay system was developed to test the effects of volatile compounds on growth hyphae from germinating fungal spores. Volatiles crushed tomato leaves inhibited hyphal two pathogens,Alternaria alternata andBotrytis cinerea. Aldehydes, including C6 and C9 formed by lipoxygenase enzyme pathway upon wounding leaves, both species. Terpene hydrocarbons, 2-carene limonene, had no significant effect growth. The quantities in vapor phase were measured direct headspace sampling GC analysis.
