摘要: Abstract A Mg–8Gd–3Y–0.4Zr (GWK830, G, W, and K refer to Gd, Y Zr respectively) alloy was free-forged, the effects of forging temperature total deformation on forgeability, microstructure mechanical properties were investigated. For suitable is above 380 °C, a up 45% acceptable at 430 °C. With increasing from 380 °C to 430 °C, considerable dynamic recrystalization (DRX) took place expense twinning, resulting in improvement properties. But 480 °C, complete DRX grains fully consumed twin coarsened, leading decrease tensile Holding 430 °C and raising deformation, texture with c -axis most normal elongation direction (ED) intensified evidently, accounting for along ED also enhanced anisotropy between (FD). Furthermore, yield strength (YS) 276 MPa, ultimate (UTS) 353 MPa 9.25% obtained when free-forging carried out under 45%.
