摘要: Abstract Multidirectional forging (MDF) was applied to severely deform the homogenized coarse-grained Mg–Gd–Y–Nd–Zr alloy under decreasing temperature condition, and microstructure, texture tensile properties of MDFed were investigated in current study. With increase MDF passes, volume fraction fine recrystallized grains remarkably increased, average grain size decreased from 200 μm 5.4 μm after three but that, almost unchanged, ultrafine (UFGs) with an 5.1 μm uniformly evolved six passes. The basal gradually weakened increasing which resulted cooperative effect dynamic recrystallization, precipitation change direction force. yield strength, ultimate strength elongation failure enhanced
