摘要: Optimizing the electrical communication between enzymes and electrodes is critical in development of biosensors, enzymatic biofuel cells, other bioelectrocatalytic applications. One approach to address this limitation attachment redox mediators or relays enzymes. Here we report a simple genetic modification glucose oxidase enzyme display free thiol group near its active site. This facilitates site-specific maleimide-modified gold nanoparticle enzyme, which enables direct conjugated an electrode.
